Meet the Kumm Family

We are a 6th generation Nebraska family farm. Mike and LaNell have been married for 30 years and have raised five children with Christ in the center of it all. Mike served in the United States Marine Corps for four years than came home to continue the family farm.
We sell organically finished market beef that are NHTC beef cattle (no hormones traceability cattle) that grade out prime 70% of the time. Our goal is to produce excellent marbled, great tasting prime beef that you know what exactly your beef is .
LaNell is raising American Shetlands ponies, that have a gentle spirit, hardy, easy to train because , they have high intelligence, that come from outstanding pedigree.
Hallie raises the cutest Nigerian goats and the chickens run all round giving us lots of fresh eggs.
Ringo, the family German Shephard guards them at night and the cats catch all the mice. We believe there is no greater life than living the country dream.
Hard work, honest dealings, charity and hope for the futures are our greatest virtues. We invite you to explore our web page and learn how we do life.
Our family farm’s name, comes from a giant red rock that sits at the top of our lane.
The words on the rock, belong to Ann. She was our first born who went to heaven way to early. She was a cowgirl who went home to Jesus on July 5, 2008. You can read about our Ann at https://nextstopheaven.org Our separation is real but temporary. Until we are called home, we will run the race God has marked out for us.
There was no better name we could think of that connects all of who we are than “Red Rock Homestead“.
